I remember this!! Some time ago a female MSP was "inaugurated" using Scots! Isn't that right? I don't know ANY Scottish that speak like that!!!

Oh, I love Scots.

I can understand most of it written down with the exception of some dialectal words but to hear it spoken is just mad (in a good way)!

Its a nice accent to listen to, pity more of them don't speak scots gaelic though

Hmm, I was referring to the language rather than the accent but I do like Scottish and Irish accents too.

I believe there is an area of Ireland where people speak Scots.

It's a shame that accents and dialects are on the decline, I'm quite proud of mine (don't tend to type in it though...)
