A programme on Channel 4 tonight has made me start this.

Quote:
Documentary

Interview With a Poltergeist

10:00pm - 11:05pm

Channel 4

VIDEO Plus+: 1187001
Subtitles

1/3

Documentary examining one of the most baffling and controversial cases of paranormal phenomena recorded in Britain, known as the Enfield Poltergeist, which allegedly tormented 11-year-old Janet Hodgson for several months in 1977. Featuring extraordinary sound recordings and footage from the house, along with witness testimonies from journalists and paranormal investigators, the programme asks if Janet's experience was a legimitate haunting, or actually an elaborate hoax.

So, do you think they exist? I'm fully open to the possibility and I'll never call anyone an idiot or a liar for saying they do believe in them or have seen them. But until I see one for myself I almost find it hard to believe. Stupid ghost hunting programmes don't help the subject either.

I do have a spiritual side to me. But my cold nature holds me to the belief that when we kick the bucket that's it, all black and no more. That doesn't stop me from thinking there's a higher purpose and there is certainly more to life and the universe than I could ever understand.

I "know" they exist having "hit" one in the car outside RAF Scampton... i'm not the only one that's hit the ghost of a dog there either according to the security guys (and by the skid marks on the road).

Apparantly, the ghost is of Guy Gibson's Labrador called "Nigger" which got killed there while he was on the Dambuster raids.

I spent 2 nights in a haunted house and saw stuff that would turn your shit white! I’m talking about stuff whizzing through the air , writing appearing on walls, voices/whistling , light bulbs popping, and actual ghosts walking up and down the staircase, .. one in particular was that of a little girl who liked to dress the banisters in little nurses masks and aprons, …my mate removed one and she got pissed off and hit him in the back with an empty fire extinguisher. I was also a physically pushed/pulled and heard voices whisper in my ear. Just to note, we were all sober!, …well the first day and night we were I insisted that we get pissed the next night or I wasn’t staying any longer lol

When I see that Most Haunted it makes me laugh because ghosts are not “orbs” or “cold spots” they look just like us with the exception of being able to walk through walls

oops, sorry. I should have been clearer. It's quite possible it was something supernatural, but why not a dead stray as opposed to a a known dead dog.

Well it was a house from the 1700 that was converted into a special school for troubled kids, …that’s when most of the deaths occurred there, Sadly it was bought and made into flats after being left empty for years. You wouldn’t get me buying one of them that’s for sure lol As for the location it was in Stonley in Leicestershire, …It had never been documented as a haunted house but certainly should have been as it was active for the full 2 days I was there, ..even as we were leaving tiles were flying off the roof at us lol

Also i got told by my dad.

A friend of his got killed in a motorcycle accident, And after the funeral, well a few weeks after, they went round to his widows house to spend the night and make sure she was ok, his mate walked into the front room through 1 wall, stood at the coffee table smiled at him and then walked out through another..

Freaky huh Exclamation

My agnostic nature means i wont believe in something till i've seen it for myself, i think it would be kewl if there were sprits around, but until i get some physical proof, i remain on the fence Smile
