I know I'm naughty and have put this in the wrong place, but the offer ends tonight and I didn't want anyone to miss it if I put it in the holidays part..

http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/?culture=GB

lots of free flights to loads of places, I've just booked flights to dublin in November for £2.42! (thats just the debit card charge)

Hope it comes in handy for someone Smile

Nice one Curraghmore I wish I could take advantage.

Hope others do though. It's too good an offer to pass up on, especially if you have relatives or friends in any of the destinations.

I wish I could take advantage too! When my friend was in Rome for a year studying abroad she used Ryan Air all of the time, so shes freaking out right now! If only I lived in the UK..

Actually.. I think they are a bit crafty, because there's no mention of the "handling fee" at ANY point in the booking process. We only realised we'd been charged a credit card booking fee AFTER we paid and got the receipt. Still at £38 for six people to Frankfurt, return, we can't really complain (and the booking fee is less if you use a debit card) but even so I do think it's slightly off of them not to mention it before you pay.

The problem with it is that you pay the taxes on top....and (especially in the UK) - getting to the Ryanair Airport usually costs almost as much as a normal flight to a bigger airport.

The Ryanair Airports' names are also misleading....Frankfurt is not in Frankfurt, but 200 km away.....not even close to Franfurt.

I prefer booking in advance (e.g. Lufthansa) - then you also pay only 99 Euros for a return flight and you
arrive at proper airports....

You can get away with paying the taxes as alot of flights are tax free, however if you want check a case in you have to £24, still cheap in my book, Oh and Dublin is a proper airport, right .........

Incorrect. The last two days Ryanair had loads of flights available with NO taxes or surcharges. All you pay was a booking fee per ticket which varies between about £2.50 and £6.00 per person depending on what sort of card you use.
