Will seriously ruin his standing up there if he takes them down. Wonder if he can keep Owen fit. If so they will be safe, if not maybe not. Be nice to see them go down really, unless it keeps Boro up.

Although maybe prefer Blackburn to go down in Newcastle's place especially if they never come back.

I think he's on to a no loser. If they get relegated then probably wont do him any harm, as most people expect it now. Big Joe Kinnear was probably their best chance of staying up.

Yeah, Boro & Blackburn can't fill their grounds, so time to give some other fans the chance to enjoy their team in the prem, methinks. Dont reckon they're be back anytime soon. They'll be 15,000 crowds for both in the CCC

West Brom to have a Robson-esque rivival to sink Pompey. ahhhhhhhh

Think it was Lee Evens that said..... Why can't everyone just decide who is the better football team and then leave it at that and get on with something else? lol

I guess that's true Jegs but looking at the other teams down there he should be able to keep them up pretty easily.

For me it was due to blackburn just being a dirty annoying side and Boro always seeming to take points of us. Laughing

Wouldn't be surprised if Hull make it into the bottom 3 though, been in freefall for some time now.

I think that even Bags wouldn't expect such a miraculous revival from WBA now.

Yeah there's a lot of grounds "haunted by the spectre of relegation" this season.

Indeed the streets of England will be awash with form books, which have been 'thrown out the window' if Boro n Brom stay up.

WBA problem is not the profligate strikers, It was the noble Mowbray's 'attempt' to play the season with no goalscorers up front or in midfeild. Like some bizarre handicap.
