I agree that it is pretty boring on here a lot of the time. The problem for me is that there are only so many times you can read the same people tell you who they've got a crush on, or what they'd do to the person above, etc, etc, before it all becomes a bit ZZZZzzzzzzzzz.... Especially when the site doesn't have that many regular posters so it's always the same people saying the same things.

I've tried to introduce a few more interesting topics recently by starting threads in the world issues forum but only a few people go in there.

Every day it's the same people posting the same things in the same threads... tedium.

Oh I had a lot of trouble with this one. My wee brain is burning up with thinkings!

Now I read Claudia's post and I thought, Yeah!!! everyone loves a good argument and the forum is lacking in this - I totally agree with that!

Then I thought oh, but if I post that I agree then I'll be being nicey nicey and that's exactly what she is raging against.

I pondered how can I agree and disagree in an effective enough manner to agree with what she said BUT also hold up the flag for the fact that there are some meaty and interesting threads out there somewhere.

So I thought maybe I should go look for them and was about to start my great search through the reams of threads about all and sundry.

Then I stopped and said sod that. I'm going to mix some vodka and lemonade and get wrecked.

Why the hell are so many people agreeing with the original statement? Isn't this a bit ironic?

I thought the whole point of this thread was to tackle the issue of complacency, yet it seems to have imploded on itself into a Churchill dog style 'Oh YES' thread.

It's not people agreeing or disagreeing or whatever, as I said above it's just that it's the same people posting in the same tedious threads day after day. To be perfectly honest I don't give a flying fuck who you've got a crush on or whether you'd sleep with the person above.
