It really is so boring now ... no-one disagrees with anyone, everyone agrees with everything thats said & wants to hug and crush on everyone, The site needs a bit of Oompphh!! is it just me that feels this way????

there are loads of people (regulars)who havent been on in ages and maybe they just got a bit bored with all the ''niceness'' to ......... i'm not looking for arguments, but feck sake people, be honest and say how you really feel about certain posts, dont just try to be nice ...

Maybe people *are* being honest and saying what they really think? Just happen to agree......saying that, if one disagrees on the wrong side of the Niceness Fence, thread gets locked, so I for one have given up calling a spade a shovel......

I think its about respecting one another. Hang on, some have said in the past that they wont respect someone who they think is wrong, so maybe 'respect' isnt the word I need. "accepting" perhaps?
I see absolutely no point in trying to score points/win battles etc with relatively virtual strangers on the internet, myself I am here to have a bit of fun, make a few friends and yes shock horror BE NICE AND HAVE PEOPLE BE NICE BACK TO ME.
Niceness all round makes me feel good. Simple As.
If I disagree with something someone here says, I couldnt give a rats arse, sometimes i'm in the mood to call a spade a shovel, other times i think Sod it why bother, and move on to another thread.

I think Claudia has probably noticed the 'niceness' because we do have a flood of some lovely newbies so of course everyone's going to pussyfoot around trying to make them feel welcome, and they trying to fit in. ?

I definitely agree with this.. without the differences in opinion and scandal the forums has lost its luster. I haven't been able to log on here that often but when I do, I really can't find anything to post about except the same old topics. Where are the troublemakers??!!

Think Alice hit the nail on the head, alot of the time certain people's sarcism or sense of humour is taken out of context and some take it as a personal attack ........ not to mean anyone should get personal, about another member ....... but the ones you can, who you know will take the comments as they are meant, seemed to have disappeared temporarily.

The same goes for any sort of 'heated' discussions, everyone has a difference of opinion. just some people maybe stand up for what they believe in a little bit more.

So let's get the party started again boys and girls ......... i know you got it in you somewhere ........

Tis true that serious discussion is a difficult thing on here at times.

Some very good topics have sparked a good debate about interesting things (i.e. religion or Hitler), but sadly they go straight off topic and people start slagging each other off directly.

I'm all up for a bit a excitement though to stop it getting boring, just sometimes topics have to get locked because it gets really nasty and pointless.....
