well in my opinion emo is a waste of time, what have they got to say? what are their political ideals? at least with punk bands had something to say and a cause. from what i have seen emo is about wallowing in depression and self pity, hardly gonna make things happen in the world is it? but what doi i know, i am over the hill!

emo is only a fashion trend and music genre, therefore if you call yourself emo its the same as saying your a pair of socks, or saying your electro, and the emotional business, the word emo was a random word used to name the new music genre, it was never short for emotional and never meant emotional, therefore, its pretty much a fake craze
