Have you ever thought about emmigrating to another country?
If so, which country and why?

I suggest Sweden:

Reason 1:

You can buy a house like that for only 20,000 pounds.

Just compare how much you would spend on a similiar house in the UK. and how much you would need to work just in order to pay for the mortgage.

I think many people work more several hours a day just to pay for their mortgage...so if they didnt have to pay off the mortgage they could work less..or not at all.

Reason 2:

Nice landscape..not much pollution

Reason 3:

Swedish girls!

I could never live in a country where english isn't their first language. That pretty much limits me to the UK and USA (along with a few assorted others). I'd never live in the USA because of their health care and terrible education system. No offence to any americans on the board, of course - but it's the global consensus that these are the country's two weakest points for a potential mover.

My money would certainly go a lot further out there, but i'd need work out there to keep it going.

Nah, I like England. All it's problems aside, none of them really affect me. That's the way I like it.

If I had to decide between the USA and Canada I would go for Canda ----- never understand Alanis Morissette, she wanted to have a USA passport.

What about New Zealand or Australia? Or South Africa? Or Canada? Or Ireland?

I wouldnt go to the USA as the only good part would be Florida as it it warm all the time...the only problem is that there are hurricanes every summer....and it probably gets boring after a while as there is not much to do apart from going to the beach and clubbing...and the clubs are expensive and most of the women are either as daft as a bush or only speak spanish.

australia and new zealand might be more interesting...and new zealand definitely has some nice landscapes....only more complicated to become resident there.
