Anyone got any embarrising work-related Xmas party stories that they want to share.

Mine was at Chester Racecourse 2 years ago where I drank a lot, I ordered a taxi and one pulled up - I thought it was mine but the bosses who got in said it was theirs. I then walked away and right in front of them I vomited!

Embarassed

I was working abroad a few years on emergency & had to miss this one particular one in November in regards to one member of staff 9 this was confirmed by 3 people who were there so I know it's true!

- got lightly intoxicated before the Do
- gave 1 woman a 2nd secret santa, a blow up doll
- told the senior bosses receptionist (Are you still shaggin the boy in the postroom ?)
- blagged near the female boss who was in earshot using Inuendo about how they really spent the corporate Credit Card in the Swiss & Austrian trips ( personal female entertianment) & covered up the expenses
- gave his colleague a piece of ham for xmas (he was muslim & they usually got on well)
- as everyone was puting their coats on said the the senior boss (female) ( So where are we often to then, next ?)

when I got back I happens to see the footage of how the picture in the office was on the fllor broken, hwo the large-sreen Tv was smashed & why a few desks incldung my were in unsually disarray, as if MI5 were serching for some hidden microfilm - no prizes for who did it

Good luck to you. Safe negotiation of the office Christmas party is a vital career skill - they should teach it at business school. If in doubt, try to stay sober!

yeah, i think i committed a faux pas once or twice. The first works do i went to at 16 yrs i hammered my boss at pool, spanked him around the table frame after frame. My other boss took me to a dark corner and whispered some crap about it not being a good idea to keep winning, i looked at him and he wasn't joking. So i'm supposed to like his arse am i, fuck that, i left a week later and went back to college to doss about.
