I'm not a prude, or really old, but I can't help but hate Eastenders, Emmerdale, and Coronation Street.

It seems to me that all of these programs are galmourising infidelity, as well as other activities that would give David Cameron a heart attack.

And don't even get me started on the Eastenders kiddy fiddling storyline.

Next week they are having Gary Glitter on as a guest star I expect......

They are crap shows relying on cheap titillating/shocking storylines to attract viewers rather than the quality of the acting, writing or anything else.

I don't watch any of them, but have seen most of them at one time or another. Rubbish.

Well, Dirty Den (the actor) had already done time for murder apparently, so what do you expect?
As for storylines, I guess it's what gets bums on seats at home in front of the telly, or pushes up the ratings or whatever they call 'success' of soaps.

I think the move to increase the number of shows a week had killed the soaps - the writers have far too much time to fill - hence the daft plots - corrie is still a cracking show but easties and emmerdale are pretty naff

They should all be floated in the stock exchange.

Preferably under the good names of Halifax/Bradford & Bingley/ etc etc........
