I'm fed up of drinking in Chertsey. There's no decent pubs any more. The King's Head used to be good before a new landlord took over and ruined it. The Crown is a nice pub but they are starting to really take the piss with prices in there now (£3.60 a pint.) So I haven't been going there as much as I used to. We seem to end up in the Swan most weekends that we're drinking locally now, which I've never really liked that much as it's one of those places that likes to think it's trendy, with the music blasting away far too loud. That's all very well but it's a pain in the arse having to shout all evening, I like to sit and have a conversation. Grumble, grumble.

I know how you feel Moose, our usual pub has had a refit and we don't like it. We are on the look out for a new one

we got a nice local pub, beer's still 2.50 a pint unless you want wife beater, that's 3.20 a pint
