Do you do it yourself or go to the dentist?

Hugglies wonders why you posted this twice? Hell, I`d like to know why you even posted it once.

And to think that some people want to ban Greystone, the (accidental) prophet of interesting debate...

...but if you must know, all British people have terrible teeth. It`s part of our heritage, like cottage pie, fights outside pubs and snatching defeat from the jaws of sporting victory.

Sorry...browser crashed wasn't responding... and It didn't show that my topic was ever created...sorry for the re-post of same question. No worries.

Ha! I wouldn't go so far as say aallll British..I heard that reason why British have horrible teeth is because the costs of dental work is too costly there. I'm grateful for affordable dentists and OTC whitening products within reach!

Sensodyne white...is that tooth paste? How fast did that work for you?

Well sensodyne toothpaste is for sensitive teeth. Works very well but not as good as macleans whiting toothpaste. But for some strange reason they changed the macleans whiting one to something that is not as good as it used to be.

Also not all British have horrible teeth. Just the people who don't look after them selves.

PS: Am not a dentist.

Where did this myth of the British having horrible teeth come from?

When things get ugly on the political forums i frequent, the Americans always accuse the British of having bad Teeth.

I use Tescos sensitive whitening or Wilcos sensitive whitening. Both cheap and very good.

I used Aquafresh whitening trays. They are easy to use...just pop them on...not to mention they work in less than week. They run for about $35...not bad considering the $$$ the dentists charge!

Not everyone has bad teeth cuz they dont look after them!!!!!!
My ex got a mosquito bite under his chin which gave him sceptocemia and all his teeths roots rotted and they fell out/crumbled.
I myself have arthritis in my jaw and several of my teeth have one by one gotten so loose they had to be pulled....and i've only ever had 2 fillings (the only dentistry ever needed) and that was when i was 14 and i'm nearly 42 so i dont think i've not looked after my teeth.
Oh and also i had a bad fall once and 2 teeth got knocked out.
Um, also I use a whitening toothpaste cuz i smoke and am a caffeine addict. Don't seem to work not that i've noticed but no one has ever said yikes or looked disgusted at me.
