Moderation of forums/mesageboards is always a problem, and you cant keep everyone happy.

You have a pm Kizz.

I disagree, that makes it a "club" only if the other mods like each other would they be allowed in.

sorry but i disagree, present mods are the only ones who can judge a persons content. If it makes a "Club" then so be it, just casue you had a bad time with one mod....me and leglovers have also had a "Spat" in the past doesn't make them any less qualified.

The word 'moderate' means that you should indeed be 'moderate' not start bashing randomly at people who get on your nerves.

I realise that I have made some people cross but the whole point of being a moderator on a forum is to calm things down not blow things up and cause more trouble.

It is not a moderators job to insult people, no matter what people said, it's their job to diffuse a situation and if they can't manage such a mundane task then they shouldn't be called a moderator but an exacerbator (which isn't actually a real word but describes quite adequately how certain 'moderators' deem it wise to behave).

It's the done thing to take it to a PM or a higher up person in the forum hierarchy if you feel you can't keep a lid on your own feelings in a matter that's not deemed to be 'good content'.

I would be happy to nominate myself as a moderator if one is required. Since I administrate phpBB message boards (which includes moderation) I am familiar with the role and 'duties'.
