I get sooooooo many e-mails off people who have CLEARLY not read my profile...

"Hey want some camera fun?"

"I like your picture... you're really pretty... wanna chat?! I just want no strings..."

"Hi, I'm 48..."

No offence to people OVER 35, but it CLEARLY says on my profile that I do NOT wanna be contacted by them!!! (I'm not a complete bitch- some are just looking to chat, and that's fine, but when they ask for more i get a bit creeped out... but that's a COMPLETELY differerent issue!!)

IN MY PROFILE I CLEARLY STATE THAT I WANT A LONG TERM THING!!!!!!!! THIS IS NOT ONE NIGHT STANDS!!!!! I ONLY HAVE LIMITED LETTERS!!! I CAN ONLY STATE WHAT I DO WANT!!!!!!!!

So obviously people are just looking at the photo, thinking hmmmm pretty girl and copy and pasting their email address into the message box with a badly spelled message.

...the best way, or a better way perhaps, is to look at others profiles, and contact them. That way you'll spend less time getting caught up with random chancers messaging you, and less likely respondants will ingnore your personal statement/profile.

Obviously if people paid for membership; you'll get less people farting about on here. But if you contact people and put some interesting and appropriate content in your mail, and they response likewise; you'll have a better chance you're maybe arn't wasting your time when logging on.

Hey you 2 ? I have same problem in a diffrent way I think these kids who are in there 20, teens,30's hell if you in those age ranges DON'T BLOODY CONTACT ME!!!!!!! Or if your from another country and that age and your english sucks and I do go to yoiur web page you are blocked for good.
I'm about age 46 so I feel your pain, trust me.

People only look at my pictures, so I included a special set for them to dissuade them and to force them to read my profile - which is even worse (!). after reading my profile they then go into therapy... or send me veiled hate mail or weirdo stuff first and THEN go into therapy! It's a public service I offer.

Oh aye. They're all covered by their travel and housing insurance polices! And a great way of conditioning in preparation for reading my profile is to watch some blipverts from the Max Headroom series first. If they don't explode then, then they're in with a promising shout at survival (my disclaimer's written in white as a webpage 'mystery meat' surprise)! I also wonder if there's an S&M group on here who engage in 'forced profile reading'. May be an idea to start one!?

Men rarely actually look at the profile, mine clearly states im with someone but yet still get "i looked at your profile and like it, lets chat" To which i reply clearly you didnt!

I think they just click on the whos online and then message every girl that tickles their pickle!

But dont you have to actually click on the profile to message?? Im not too sure as never messaged anyone via their profile but I would think they need to!

I wouldnt let it stress you out too much, atleast you then know they havent looked so therfore save time wasting talking to them!

Aso scriptwriter.... not a dig here but i looked at your profile earlier and was wondering why someone who has a one night stand in the past would be a no no to you, also the piercings, does that include ears? It wasnt clear AND what if the woman goes to pubs but doesnt drink alcohol? like say after work with work pals, or for a friends birthday? and with the drugs thing, do they not need to do them now or never done them? Like alot of people would have dabbled in their past (i only ever did with a joint that i never liked) but might not now? Just wondered as its very specific, I know each to their own but how does some of them things alter the person in your opinion? Genuine question as im intrigued as not sure of someone that is so straight laced (correct saying???) even exists?

My profile is as it is for my own reasons y'see. I have no requirement to explain nor debate them publicly, and that's simply the way it is. Other than that, I wonder if VAT will reduce from 20% any time soon, as the price hike on fuel is utterly crazy...! x

They have to be approved first. If they have been approved and still don't show, there is a glitch. You'd have to delete them all and re-upload them.

Maybe they read your profile but suffer from impaired short term memory.

Or maybe they suffer from a form of aphasia so only look at your picture then hit those keyboards.

Either way, these are endearing faults don't you think

I don't think you can pick and choose who writes you regardless of what your profile states.

Maybe live dangerously as zacktelstar suggests and take the lead.

I think if I remember correctly... I emailed you first! I DO take the lead thank you very much.

I do get emails from people who HAVE read my profile, they ask about my travelling etc- but only about 30% of messages contain a decent conversation starter. The other 70% is people who clearly haven't read it...

I received a few messaged today containing "Let me Lick you" and "I hope your P**** is as cute as your face"

basically I'm asking why these fools DON'T read the profiles... surely there are girls out there looking for fun, and therefore these guys have a better chance with them?! Instead of wasting their time (and short messages) on me!?

Personally, I take profiles with a pinch of salt...and in some cases pictures.

But then I never search either.
