These days, lots of guys like me go to the gym, many aiming to get stronger, fitter and improve their body image and self confidence.

What I want to know ladies is, is it worth it?

If you saw a guy walking down the street with a strong, well developed body, would he be more attractive to you than a man who thinks 'gym' is the guy he bought that fake Rolex from last saturday?

Im not bothered about great big muscles. If he had everything else going on for him, and had a nice physique too then it would be a bonus, not a requirement.

My tattooist has a few muslces, god dammit he is gorgeous!

Exactly the same here Danni. I've been out with a few guys all shapes and sizes. Muscles...yeah a little bit is attractive but it depends on what the bloke is like who has them. In my experience, most guys who have what they determine the perfect body, all tend to be slightly arrogant with it. But thats just my experience.

Ive got twinkly eyes. They're not real though, they're actually large marbles. I lost my real eyes back in 77 in a rather bizarre skate boarding accident involving a cadburys cream egg, a squirrel, a copy of the beano summer speacial comic and a large pair of womans opaque tights.

It's funny that guys actually care as to wether or not other people think they look good, imo it should be all about how you feel about the way you look, if you can look in the mirror and be happy with whatever is in front of you then mission accomplished to be honest.

I personally think that there are lines, i think body builders like Lee Priest and Ronnie Coleman / Jay Cutler have taken it too far, but it's their profession so in a way it's okay, I myself am aiming for something more along the lines of Frank Zane, no masses of muscles but absolute perfection, in symetry and proportion i think frank in his prime was spot on, lean, and chissled, i doubt ill ever get 10% of that kind of physique, but when i'm happy with my body then i'll know it, and i don't care if it's not what women like to see Smile

Nope, not even Frank Zane. Far too muscular. I like 'real' men.
