on thursday night i emailed fifteen women and didnt get one reply now i know i aint the greatest looking bloke on the planet but surley this goes back to manners a reply saying get lost creep or something isnt as annoying as the pretend he never emailed me routine isnt it about time us blokes got the respect of some sort of answer when we take the trouble to say hello

why does it happen though you being a woman of the world caz must have some idea of why

I am one of the women who doesnt reply all the time and to be honest I do look at pictures & locations first before I go any further. Shallow I know but if i dont like the look of someone or I consider they are too far away then i normally dont reply. I have replied in the past and been honest and yeah you get some nice ones but you can also can get some abuse back. So now i just dont bother.....But thats only me...others may have other reasons

Well i currently don't reply to any messages ............ as my profile speaks for itself 'only here for the forums' .............. so anyone who bothers to send me a message now, obviously doesn't read my profile first ........ how rude

When i was looking to date people ......... like Carrie .......... i was a a little shallow, if that's what you call it ......... at the end of the day, you have to be attracted to someone physcially as well as mentally and as far as making friends is concerned ....... i have enough friends and would go on 'freinds reuntied' etc if i wanted to find long lost friends ........ this is a dating site after all ......... not to say i haven't made friends but only from the forums .......... mainly female ones, with 1 or 2 males thrown in for good measure ......... x

Probably for the same reason I nearly didn’t bother answering the one you sent me……you didn’t make much effort with it. No greeting, no introduction, no please, no thank you, just a short and a blunt question (and not a question mark in sight ) - if you're sending messages like that to women you’ll either get no reply at all, or at the very best, an equally disinterested one in return. Fact. OAO.

If I was a woman I wouldn't answer messages from most men, their profiles say nothing about them except that they are exactly the same as 10's of thousands of other average middle-aged men on FB (average height, average interests, average everything - in other words, exceptionally boring) and want to meet someone for one of these:
