A place in which you would feel safe and completely happy. Whether it's just a few words, a phrase, or a page... A home, a room, someone's arms, a coffee shop you love, a spot in a park, a roller coaster or whatever makes ya most happy. And maybe you can share more than once place you love and is real or one you WOULD love to exist. Oh and don't forget to say why it makes you happy.

I'm gonna get back on this to describe mine, but I didn't wanna let the idea go. Razz

watching the sunset from a cliff top on a summers evening with a radio, chilled beers and the tent just a crawl away.

sat in front of an open fire in a musty old drafty house with grandfather clocks and candles, wind and rain howling outside.

both because you just sit and stare, thinking is optional.

to reply in song;

"Now everybody's got advice they just keep on givin'
Doesn't mean too much to me
Lot's of people out to make-believe they're livin'
Can't decide who they should be.

I understand about indecision
But I don't care if I get behind
People li vin' in competition
All I want is to have my peace of mind."

peace of mind - by Boston
tougher than Chicago Razz at least

What I'm gonna say is probably gonna sound weird, but I got this place I used to go to a while ago, in my mind... I used to have an amazing mentor, a woman who inspired me into doing lots of great things and I cared for her lots... And there was this one guy I cared lots about at that time too (a celebrity - not gonna give names though)...

And I was puttin some relaxation music on my i-pod with some rain sound, but a spring rain with lovely music, not a thunder storm... And I imagined I was lying on my bed in an upstairs bedroom of a house me and my mentor would live in together with my celebrity bf living there too... And whilst I were takin an afternoon nap with the lovely sun in the rain caressin me she'd be bakin a cherry pie and all the house smellin of pie (sorta like Christmas or smth) and then my celebrity bf comin in the bedroom and takin a nap with me (yea, just a nap). And that was about it, always brought me peace.

And I know it's too intimate to put it here, but since I started this topic, I might as well contribute to it the perfect way...

One other place in which I found myself to feel like home, a while ago, was Elvis' voice, especially his Christmas songs (which I used to listen even at the beach - talk about crazy)... But that doesn't work anymore, dunno why... A poet used to say "Where are you childhood?" Guess I grew out of it. But I always wish I could go back. Rolling Eyes

That's about it for now. I'll be comin' back to this. Very Happy

one of my favourite places to go and relax and reflect ids the riverside rain or shine, just looking at the ripples and the flow of the river does something soothing to me, and on the sofa with mu children with a duvet over us all cosy and snug watching family movies and eating popcorn that makes me happier than anything in the whole world.

Either at home with my kids and Kevin on a summers day having a BBQ out in the garden

On the Bonny Banks of Loch Lomond watching the water with a picnic (with Kev of course)

Or like everyone else ... My Bed - time to be alone and do what you like Wink

Anywhere that nobody knows me and where I can't be contacted. Where there's lots of water on one side and forest behind. Somewhere warm in the summer and snowy in the winter so that i have an excuse to wear thick socks n jumper and a roaring real fire in the hearth.
