I've almost finished decorating my room!

Originally, it was purple. I then painted it soft pink, and didn't like it.
So i've now painted it...purple again. It's a little bit lighter than before, though!
I also painted the spare bedroom in soft pink - and it looks pretty good in there.

I'm going to try and persuade mum to let me decorate the living room next..

Good on ya, I hate decorating, it's something I have never been able to do.

I love decorating and DIY too. I'm currently painting my youngest girls room a very pale pink too I've also built a shelving/wardrobe type thingy along one wall under a sloping roof in her room

I'm in the middle of prepping my flat for redecorating too.... stripping wall paper, rubbing down paint work.... thats the bit I HATE! Making it all nice again is the good bit!

I do love diy but i hate stripping wallpaper and i hate glossing ...

You can all come and do my room. it needs it!

Dont talk to me about decorating. I have a couple of young lads who work for me and one of them, the clumsy one, was working at the top of some stepladders painting the outside of the house today. I heard a loud crash and a lot of swearing so I went out to see what the commotion was. He'd dropped a full can of paint all over nextdoors block paved drive and splashed it over their new car....AAARRGGHHHH....Took 3 hours to clean it all up. Safe to say I sacked him.
