I for one could not, or lets say I would find it damned hard having no net.

I am at home 24/7 because of disability problems (I do get out and about but not much), so the net for me is my outside world in a way.

I know i can manage without it as when i go to stay with my dad he doesnt have the net ... however, i do find it dificult esp. at the mo as it is just more resourceful when looking for a job and has more jobs listed on it than in the newspapers, i also agree with mp ... sit at home, in my case slop out instead of stuffing face and chat to people! me and all my mates from uni use the net to stay in touch too

well a single, childless, young person would have a lot to keep them busy, between seeing mates, and going where they want when they want. lol

i'm kept to a much tighter schedule. i have two kids. i have to be up at around six or six thirty evvvvery morning hungover or not. i only see my mates if i drag the kids with me or they drag theirs to mine. and i can't go anywhere without strategic planning and an inventory of vital "bits n bobs" i have to bring with me for them. it's like planning a military manouevre. lmao.

Easily. I'd miss it as I use it to keep in touch with friends a lot and download a lot of music for dj'ing but I could live without it. In some respects I often think it would be a good thing to do without it as I seem to spend more and more time on it than I should.

It has been my research lifeline. Studying for the past 4 years and having a busy homelife, didnt give me much time to sit for hours in a library, so no, i couldnt of managed without it
