Home >> Anything else >> Cool Scar Stories please!

Not sure about 'cool' but here goes.
When I was a baby (during the war) My body rejected everything that I consumed. It was caused by a rare condition which meant I had a knot in my oesophagus (?) - (the tube which food travels down into your stomach). To cut a long story short, I have a 3 inch scar across my stomach where the doctors had to cut me open and 'undo' the knot.
Enjoy your breakfasts!

| Oops! Wrong, end and stick. Sorry Heidi. |
It was still a cool story, if you tweek it a bit by saying you had to have nutrients tubed through your hand you can turn it in to a Heidi story.

Hey! No African Grey can be described as a 'little shit'
They're all little so just 'shit' will do

You haven't even paid me yet.
If you don't shut it you will have a few of your own scar stories to tell.

My money is on Vanda.
Anyway, I still havent established a cool story for my hand!
I reckon, if we merge ALL the stories, it would sound something like this:
Well, one day i was playing rugby, when an african grey parrot landed on the pitch. So as not to hurt the wee creature, i walked over to it to pick it up and carry it away...as i walked across, a huge bomb went off and blew up half the pitch, but in the heat of the moment, i still managed to dive over the explosion, capture the parrot and shield it from the blast, however managing to cut my finger on a glass that some idiot had left on the pitch. As the flames died down, and the parrot realised it wasnt in any more danger, it bit me, right where the glass caught me, so i let go and it flew away. A few weeks later i started having tummy trouble and went to the Dr. It turned out that i had a knot in my tubes somewhere and so they had to untie the knot, but couldnt do so for quite some time, which meant that i had to be fed via a drip which was connected to my hand where i had glassed myself and where the bird bit me!
That is so not far fetched at all.. i love it!
