Have a look here....

I thought anti-terrorism laws were out of fashion, but obviously some idiots still think they could get away with all kinds of laws under the shield of anti-terror laws.

This is not only ridiculous but also dangerous.....

All your private information (e.g. messages on British websites, emails) would be stored in a national database accessible to many people (police, government...HACKERS etc). This would kill the last bit of privacy......luckily this website is hosted outside of the UK, so you would be safe on here.

If you live in the UK, you should oppose to these kind of BigBrother laws anyway....if nobody complains all kinds of laws like that will be approved.

Thus we continue our relentless march towards an Orwellian existence. If this goes through, never again can we criticise the likes of the USSR and China. Our government will become our worst enemy - if it isn't already.

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft or similar were already harvesting data on the quiet. I know various websites have been criticised for their use of tracking cookies etc. This is bigger though

Very scary. It seem's obvious to me that 1984 is already becoming a reality with cctv cameras everywhere and text speak (read as new-speak), and the general dumbing down of society. Obviously not everyone can be inteligent, but when being stupid is seen as being cool, I think this is something that is promoted on purpose so we dont bother looking into what is really going on. Hope this make's sense.
