I met quite few stars of british tele when I was kid, but then my dad did work in films and tv, doing 'stunt' driving (which was just regular driving in shot really) and supplying cars, vans, buses, trucks etc as 'prop' vehicles.
We never had the same car for more than a few weeks at a time when I was a kid. Dad would come home in whatever he had been using that day. The old yellow car (betsy?) from Doctor Who was a favourite for a few months one summer, and there was a number of american cars when he was on 'superman'.....

not as impressive as some of the entries here but theres a few names people should know there.

I got to meet the kid who plays Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movies- Rupert Grint. He came into the store at the mall I worked at and bought a punch bowl and cup set and a fake butler who help a drink tray (I worked at a holiday store called Department 56) I got his autograph for a friend of mine, who loves Harry Potter.

I also got to meet Molly Shannon recently at a movie premiere I went to. Shes from Saturday Night Live and was there promoting her movie The Year of the Dog. Shes also in Superstar, Night at the Roxbury, Talladega Nights and Never Been Kissed. She was awesome and so funny.

I went to a taping of our TV show America's Home Makeover and got to see the designers and host Ty Pennington. Wasn't too exciting though.

Errrrrmmmm..........Eric Pollard from Emmerdale (on a train going to Newcastle for a hen night. Had a rather drunken conversation with him and offered him a stiffy - its a drink for all you dirty minded people!!!)
