Don't get me wrong - I totally love Christmas! Very Happy

But for me, it's not about seeing how much money you can spend on a million presents.

Good food, good company, and if you're that way inclined, off to church and giving thanks for what Christmas is actually about.

But since I can't have the first two without the splurge of commercialism, I'll do something else - like wander around the streets of Buenos Aires!

Thanks Cheekycheeks!

That's one of the advantages of being single - can go where I want when I want (work permitting).

Well I am going to offer to 'do' Christmas for my mate who has cancer. She might not feel up to it herself so if she wants I'll go cook, clean etc for her. If not I'm either stuck with my parents and grandparents asking me why I can't get a nice boyfriend like my sister or snuggled up with my duvet on the sofa at home watching cheesy xmas tv. I know which I'd prefer!

Finally starting to get a bit of the christmas spirit. It doesn't usually arrive til xmas eve when all the shops are shut, but thanks to my manic eldest daughter, I'm actually looking forward to it now I never thought i'd be grateful for her over exuberence
