Do you give to charity?
If you do, how and which one(s).......

I (sadly) don't reguarly give to any specific charity, but whenever I am in a shop and I buy something I tell them to put the change in their charity pot.
And whenever someone knocks on the front door asking for money for some random charity event/organisation I chuck them a fiver, but being honest that is just to get them to fuck off. Embarassed
I am thinking about sponsoring a dog at that Dogs Trust charity though.....

So how's about you lot?

I give to Banardos every week from my wages. I'm always a little dubious to give to those who come to my door and ask, just in case its not for what they say it is.

My company sponsers a lot of local events and gives to the local hospice as well.

I also sponsor my mates kids when they have fund raisers at school.

I could give a lot more I suppose Confused

Couldn't we all though.
For me it is just a matter of time really, I like to do the right thing towards others and try to give what I can when I can, but generally don't like to go to far out of my way to do it.
If I see someone outside Tescos collecting for charity, I always give something, ya know, but am always too busy to sign up for a monthly payment thing (cop out). Embarassed

I think today I will vhange that.......

I spend quite a bit of time visiting Charity Shops. A lot of my clothes I get are from there, it is mosty new stuff with the labels still attached, even my vast range of underwear I get from there too Wink (dont worry I dont buy scanky stuff, in case your thinking ewww) Confused why pay a fortune when you can buy decent stuff in there? even when i'm working I still buy from there, no reason not too...

I shouldn't find it funny, but did make me giggle (a little).

Anyway, good on you for thinking of the dog, it aint his fault I suppose....

I donate to whoever happens to be shaking their tin when I walk by so from helping Donkeys to finding a cure for Cancer.

In all honesty, i only give to charities that have some kind of personal meaning (like most of you guys i guess). Currently the only charity i tend to give to is Cancer Research UK - due to the fact that my mum had breast cancer last year.

Sorry to hear about that, hope she is better now....

But on a lighter note, I was most impressed by the donation you made to the Boobies thread not too long ago, most gernerous, and soooo greatly appreciated (by me for sure).
