All the red roses shoot up in price this week just a shame I have a family birthday and anniversary that I would prefer to send red roses for....... but hey, the potted orchids worked out well.
As for me, I don't expect or even send aanything for Valentines day LOVE IS FOR ALWAYS AND EVERYDAY

Mr Darkhorse doesn’t ‘do’ Valentine’s Day, but he did put a black vase of dark red tulips and a new black photo frame (with original artwork in it) on the other side of the bed on Saturday morning, as his woman came down from London for the weekend.

It turned out to be a romantic weekend of sorts, despite their aversion to the commercialism of Valentine’s Day, as (in between naps under Mr Dartkhorse’s desk in the relative safety of my bed) I overheard snippets of discussion involving her moving down here to live with me and my two-legged companion, marriage, and babies. I expect that also means that I shall have to put up with her humungous hairy beast of a dog on a permanent basis as well …..
