I have a classic Range Rover that does 10 miles per gallon but it's worth it for comfort and a land rover series 3 (15 miles per gallon) for off-roading and the longer trips...

probably not the best vehicles for a student...

My legs Very Happy

I'm pretty good with getting around, give me a location and I can generally find my way there. Orienteering was a little hobby of mine in high school LOL

My modes are
* van to run my business.
* a lovely ford escort given to me as a present to go out clubbing it was near new,
* some time buses, trains and motor bikes I know my way in London blindfolded as I done dispatch rider and mini cabbing long time ago
* my bike if there is parking problem.
* finally my fit legs locally and to the locall parks and shops. Very Happy
