This riles me, you say you have thousands in the bank, you get offered a job but you refused it because it was 3 hours a day 7 days a week. your an effing joke mate.
Yes and how far does a few thousand pounds go to buying a house or a flat these days???? And by the way it is the flood of foreigners into Britain which is making affordable housing in this country scarce. And I don't know how you can call Brian Haw a hero, Iraq for all its current problems is a damn sight better off than it ever was under Saddam Hussein. Now oil revenue will be spent on things that the Iraqi people need instead of vast presidential palaces.

A few thousand pounds goes an awful lot to putting a rent deposit on a flat and even renting it for the better part of a year, if not more.

Stonecastle, people aren't being mean to you for the fun of it. Your either a troll winding people up or a homeless man with little to no excuses. Do yourself a favour and get your act together. Seriously.

Or better still, why doesn't he donate those thousands to someone who can make use of them?!!

?? London has a whole area for toilets? Thats impressive. Here we have bushes to hide behind if we are lucky.

Stoneface - I have to get up in the morning too you know! Thats complete rubbish that you didnt take a job because you had to work in a morning. If you are interested in nights out then you can do a few things. Dont drink, go out early (catch the just leaving work people to talk at), or do what we all do and suffer in the morning.

You probably didnt take the job because of a couple of reasons - You couldnt be arsed, or it was a positive thing to do and you only like the negative (but I cant because....), or you are so ugly that you cant go out in public. Im guessing somewhere you will blame your lucks on the job too.

There is loads of advice being offered here to you - some good and some bad, but you only seem to focus on the parts where you can write back 'I cant because....', change the tune, tell us happy things about how things went well for you for a change.

That money would soon run out if I rented a flat. Plus most landlords will not let flats to people who are not working and not on a regular income. Just room in London cost about 80 to 100 pounds in the private sector.

What do all the homeless charities do then? Surely there must be some kind of agency you can go to, tell them you have X amount of money and are looking to get off the streets, can they put you in touch with a sympathetic landlord or housing association...? Something like this must be possible, I know up here there are organisations that will act as guarantors for your rent and/or put up a deposit...also I assume you'd qualify for some kind of state help at least to get you started...housing benefit??
