Since June 2001 Brian Haw has been camped in Parliament Sqaure sleeping in a camp bed under plastic sheeting. He rarely moves from his spot opposite Parliament. Click here.

Whole heartedly agree with you scottie, it is people like him that stand up for human rights that make a difference in this world.
Stoney he is not a tramp he is someone who is doing this for a cause and a good one at that. you however sleep that way through choice.

And by the way all homeless charities do is put people up in their rip off hostels where they charge the DHSS 200 pounds a week to house homeless people for years and hostels are hellish, ie no visitors, no late nights, etc. Then you will probably get a flat in a dump like Hackney or Brixton.
On thing the government could do to stop the housing shortage could be to end the open door policy to refugees and foreigners who flood into this country.
And back onto the subject of Brian Haw maybe he should speak to the Kurds who were gassed, massacred and forced to flee their homes as refugees under Saddam Hussein. Over a million Kurds had to flee Saddams forces after Gulf War one who crushed their uprising against him.

This riles me, you say you have thousands in the bank, you get offered a job but you refused it because it was 3 hours a day 7 days a week. your an effing joke mate.
Try this for size, young girl gets abandoned by her partner when she is 8 months pregnant and desperatly ill with Benign intracrainial hypertension. She has to give up her job and her home cause she cant see let alone walk due to pressure on the brain. Has no money at all let alone thousands in the bank, and has to pretty much live in hospital for the last month until her baby is born, or kipping on a sofa in her mates garage as there was nowhere else.
Once her baby is born she has to move into a shared house with 10 other mothers and babies and has too work full time helping her dad in his office whilst caring for her child for £150 a week which £120 went straight on rents and bills.
it takes just over a year for the council to find her somewhere to live and even then it is a drug infested shit hole. every weekend without fail one of the neighbours will get arrested or her son will point out a used needle on the door step.
Look stoney stop with the fecking excuses, if i can work 50+ hours a week for a shit wage provide everything for my son and still keep a roof over mine and my sons head with no help from any fucker then i am sure that you are fully capable of doing so. stop giving these lame ass excuses the fact of the matter is your a lazy twat that would rather doss than do anything positive with yourself. It is men like you that give homeless people a bad reputation, i do genrally feel sorry for homeless people i do buy the big issue and i do help out with donating stuff to the local shelter.
Most of the homeless people i have spoken to activly try and work toi better their situation. you however are beyond help.
Guys i am sorry for the rant and maybe i am going to far with this, but this really fecking riles me
