Buy a bread making machine, stick all the ingredients in the night before and in the morning you have lovely fresh bread!

You make it sound easy there Chet, but not as easy as jumping in the car when you run out, and popping to Tescos.....

Yep i got a bread machine, a morphy richards fastbake one, it bakes a loaf in 58 minutes and the bread is gorgeous. Great thing is you can mess with the ingredients, so i usually add 2 cups of white flour and one cup of wholemeal.

I haven't bought a loaf of bread for about a year and a half now.

There are three bakeries within five minuites walking from my door, a few butchers and fruit and veg shops too, all independant. Yet all the newsagents close over lunch?
