gooddude

Hi last week i drove from Glasgow to Manchester area with mt m8 to buy a car and was really pissed off at the amount of speed cameras i encountered, but what really annoyed me was the two red light cameras i drove past.Luckily so far it hasnt caught me but the reason im writing this is because of the sheer anger and frustration said camera put upon me.Here i was driving along a road which i didnt know only to be met with one of these cameras and to make it worse the lights were already at green as i approached, the filter lane arrow was also on. So heres me driving towards the camera thinking to myself " Oh no please dont change, please dont change etc etc and not knowing whether to go slower or speed up to ensure this bloody thing didnt snap me.
Just as i crossed the line the lights at the junction changed (which i knew was going to happen) and so did my temper,it went from being kind of scared at the prospect of having penalty points put on my license to real ANGER Grrrrr! as i wasnt sure if the thing had snapped me.
After calming down and thinking about it my conclusion is that these kind of cameras are dangerous and cause untold pent up aggression and anger because you never know if you should either speed up or slow down, so that you dont cross the line just as it changes and end up with penalty points.I was going to slam on my brakes at the last minute but decided rather quickly that it was dangerous to do this and i shouldnt have been put in that position anyway.Time to get rid of this kind of camera me thinks.
