As we're getting closer to the end of the year, I thought I'd post this topic I found in Glamour.
So what was the best/worst thing/day for you in 2007? Maybe there's still time for that, but you can always add if something incredible happens till the end of the year...

As for me... Hmmmmmmm...
There were more than one for each. But if I had to pick maybe 2 not one...

Best: The moment I met one particular person, the moment I met someone even more amazing and the moment I got a great job offer.
Worst: The moment I found out someone in my family is very ill and when I lost the first particular person I met.

Worst: take your pick!

1... discovering a lump in my breast and the consequence ops

2... discovering my boyfriend cheated when I was still recovering

3... being made homeless by the person who has been my best friend for the past 9 years



Best: still being alive and still smiling oh, and my job which I love

Best thing: Finally finishing college and getting a good job that I love.

Worse thing: Either has to be something that happened in April, or this sunday just gone. Both have changed my life in different, but major, ways.

Worst: dealing with the aftermath when my son headbutted a wall and tried to kill himself cuz his girlfriend cheated, got pregnant and had an abortion......

Best: .....Any day recently when I look at him and see how far he's come and my heart swells with pride as well as sadness.

You all make me look a little bit shallow......

Best; the gradual return of my self confidence after years of emotional doldrums.

Worst; the news that my firm is going to close in the next couple of months with the loss of 100 jobs. Sigh.....

Worst = Being long-term single for the first time since I first discovered sex

Best = Realising that being single isn't all bad, and realising how much my life actually sucked before.

Worst - My mum dying in October

Best Celebrating my first blissful year with Kevin

Worst - being told i'd become immune to my medication for MS and having to have chemotherapy for it. And then knowing that it wouldn't cure me.

Worst - being dumped by the man i was totally in love with

Best - my friends showing me how much they loved me by rallying round when i was at my worst

Best - finally since being dumped) being happy to be single again.

Worst - My grandad dying last month, then two days later my uncle died in a house fire with his new wife, so I was at two funerals in one week, one of which was a double.

Best - Passing my A-levels and starting my degree, which I love.

Worst ~ The loss of loved ones, two members of the family within weeks of each other

Best ~ The birth of my beautiful adorable grandson Rio on 29/09/07..he's completely changed my life around

Worst ............... beeing dumped at the beginning of the year by someone who was supppose to love me WTF, also someone off here. Feeling helpless when i cant give a certain someone a big hug when they have had a bad day at home ...........

Worst:
My sisters partner of 12 years dieing so tragically in febuary

Ending a relationship with a woman i was in love with in Febuary also

Not getting a permanent job at the home office when my temp contract ended in March


Best:
Landing my new job which i like much better than the home office job and pays more (every cloud has a silver lining).

Meeting my current girlfriend and the resulting relationship we are enjoying
