hi i joined the end of last week and im wondering if girls come on this website bcause their interested in guys and want a relationship or do they just want someone to talk to and make freinds because you can do that on myspace or other websites

I would say some come for one and some for the other and some for both.

But more for the chatting, meeting and getting to know a few people, seeing as though my local friends now work nights, work away...so im not in that environment.

And seeing as half my good mates tend to live a good 30-60mins away from me, long distance relationships i believe work.

Surely everyone comes here for different reasons.

The forum is busy every day.

Always nice to vent and meet people at the same time.

Bit of both for me.. wading through the minefield that is the casual love/married lot, and seeing if there are any decent blokes. Other than that a bit of a chat on the forum when I'm at home bored.

Oh and I have had a date.. nice guy, but not for me..NEXT!

I come on because i was new to the area i was in and wanted to make some friends locally and a date but people from all over country end up messaging you which is okay but not what wanted really, but yeah i want a relationship with right person.

I am not sure a lot of people get dating sites.

The way I see a dating site is it is a place where you go to meet people in order to make friends and possibly more with them. Or even if you do not have more with them you could perhaps meet someone via their friends etc so it is in effect opening up a whole new area for yourself with more possibilities opening up.

In all you should probably not go on a dating site to look for love but to look for friendship with it in mind that you could find love but not pinning all hope on the site and finding love immediately. To be honest the chances of you meeting someone on this site compared to say Match.com as I think more people are inclined to be on here for friendship.

But in all just give it your best shot!
