Just wondering if anyone has heard of or knows anything about the website Tagged, I believe its a social networking site similat to facebook etc...

A bit of a crossover between a social networking site (like Facebook) and a dating site. I did a random search for women between specific ages in my area and recongnised almost all of them from Flirtbox and another dating site, so one is left with the impression that the people who use the site might lean more towards dating than general social networking.

Yeh, sadly anyone with a few quid to buy a domain name & web hosting, along with a beginners knowledge of PHP & MySQL (although not always essential with one-click installs), can install an Open Source script like PHPizabi (to name but one) or a pay-for script like Dzoic, phpFox or one of the Boonex scripts and have a social networking and/or dating site online in less than half an hour.
OK, to be fair, it takes a bit more scripting knowledge and time to customise the templates to get an individual look for the site. When I first started using Flirtbox I wondered how much effort it would take to get a social network/dating site up and running, and perhaps it will come as no surprise that I had a fully customised test one online within a day, using a free (Open Source) script, and even had MySpace-type video and audio players integrated.
Ah ..... of course the crunch comes when one tries to find people to actually register and use it (not that I tried, it was just a coding experiment). There are just so many of these sites now that one needs a rather unique ethos to attract punters (not to mentioned excellent marketing skills!).

I accepted her as a friend, then I accepted couple other 'friends' and havent bothered with it, much the same with facebook.
