I'm pretty sure that in todays world certain people are actually addicted to being addicted to things. Although if they knew that they were addicted to being addicted, they wouldn't have to pass it off as something acceptable due to the luxury and advantages that the modern world has lavished on them, instead of just realising that they are, in fact, addicted...!

Addicted to FB I like many people nowadays, um I also addicted to music, music fills my day and coffee. I can't imagine my day without having morning coffee.
