yeah i know its not that important but i didnt say that the poll tax demo in 1990 'got rid of thatchers community charge' more that i was saying that large scale show of solidarity amongst people against new tax, in my opinion, marked the begining of the end of thatchers reign. with that much unpopularity how could she have ever suceeded for any longer?
today the central government is giving local authorities less and less of our income tax, and so the shortfall is having to be made up by local councils in the form of higher council tax bills, cuts to services councils provide, money made by the councils through parking fines and so on. same goes for the police, they are getting less and less money given to them so they are looking at making money through speeding tickets, which i think they can keep a percentage of?
but anyway its all being fcuked up in front of our eyes, its not hidden, we know its going on, we just choose to ignore.

The tax burden must be near 40% now for the lower paid, when you take into consideration TV licences, fuel tax [which I think is about 70-80p in the pound], alcohol tax etc. All these thing hit the less well off.

Owing to ill health i am likely to be medically retired!
So as soon as the lolly is safely in my account and His Tonyness has his cut I intend to head somewhere decent!! Great Britain!!! no longer exists! loyalty is no longer recognised!
Putting it into perspective the Romanians and Bulgarians have it right! Low pay? top it up with all the benefits they will get and they will effectively be better off than those of us who have paid into the system for years and get B***er all!!!!!

I AM afraid my tolerance for the bunglers has come to an end!!! I got a letter from my CEO! praising my professionalism and expertise???? But no mention of paying me for my loyalty or recognising 30 years service!!!!

As I've said before, I get the feeling there's a conspiracy and method to the madness. To offload high maintenance Brits abroad and bring in cheaper foreign labour. I bet I could sell my house and live comfortably in Bulgaria or Romania on the profit I'd make, and I'd be replaced by someone who would accept lower wages [accept them, if only temporarily]. The government seems to be encouraging it with no real opposition.
I'm not sure any other government would have done it much different.

It seems like Brown and co are trying to squeeze 2 pints into a 1 pint jug!!!!
All you really need to be is a junkie, a criminal, a teenage mum and they roll out the red carpet for you at the DWP.
It was reported that with the economic situation and unemployment rising that the DWP do not know how to cope or deal with people losing their jobs! WTF are they supposed to be doing? A piggy bank for junkies, criminals, teenage mums and of course all those people who hate Britain but love our money!!! For F@@ks sake people make sure that you are never ill and in need in Britain because your better off dead; don't forget if you lose your job you are going to be talking to people who don't know how to help you! You might just get an 0845 number to ring and if luck is on your side you might just get a reply PMSL!
BLAIR and BROWN should be shot for removing the GREAT from BRITAIN!
