Unfortunately all data on the main website between the 5th and the 6th is lost...again due to a database problem

Sorry again - in 2-3 weeks I will finally have a better webhosting solution and these things will not happen again!

Is that why some threads are not showing posts? ..e.g boobie thread seems buggered with error message 'No posts exist for this topic 4591' and isnt even showing up the post I just made.

Quite a few threads have completely disapperared from the forum too - I've only looked in th Anything Else forum so far, but both the Today I threads seem to be gone, and the 2.30 howl one, probably more.....)

Most of the major thread are gone, showing the last poster but just an error message appears. When a new post is made the post doesn't show, although the posters name appears as made a post.

This is a shame, as people have put alot into this site. Maybe this is an opportunity for the site owner to finally take the site offline for a bit and upload the new design and features and come back better than ever?

a relaunch under new hosting maybe?

It only affected new profiles .... all postings from members who have registered before should still be there,

It is only a shame a about the messages and pictures etc....

The whole thing annoys me probably me than you - as I have spend the last 2 days on the relaunch and most of the work I have done during that time is lost now I took off 2 days from work in order to relaunch the website soon - and now I have to repeat what I have done in the last 2 days...so the relaunched is delayed again.

Taking the website offline for a couple of days would more or less kill the website...

Words cannot describe how I felt this morning as I left for work, after finding that the most important thread on here (or ANY other website for that matter!), was broken....

I am now a happy bunny though, cos I have returned home for lunch to find it all fixed!!!!!!!!

I now realise that my happiness really is in god's hands...........
(and I don't think I like it either)
