haha was an early night for me DH, I wont be around much now, as I'm finally going back to work. Not sure what the net access is like at the hotel I will be staying at and I don't want to use my 3G data card in case I get roasted for it. It's about time I had a break, I think my being around on the forums all day & night might be getting on a few peoples nerves.

How long you going to Scotland for Chet? Most decent hotels have reasonable interent facilities nowadays, don't they?

Mrs DH doesn't know who all the people are on the forum yet, she hasn't spent much time here; in fact, I've just realised how daunting it must be for new people on the forum, when they see the sheer number of topics!

I'm staying at a well known chain
they do have internet but if it's £10 per day for internet then sod that, if its £10 per week then I will get it! Not sure if I can charge it to work or not... I've been assigned for 2 months but I will be home every weekend (my carbon footprint is going to go through the roof!). Do I sense your going to miss me DH ?

Best way is just dive in and maybe follow your lead! Good thing is that every one is friendly here, so Mrs DH will settle in quite nicely, who knows she may even start creating a few of her own threads!

Yeh, those hotels sometimes charge an arm and a leg for internet access. Actually, cone to thtink of it, if you're there for 2 months wouldn't be more pracitcal to get a short let apartment with all the mod conslike internet provided?

I think the company policy on apartments is that if your 3 months away then they get you one! I'm quite happy with out internet, I usually end up wasting time on here or MSN so its no big loss. I have a hard disk full of unwatched movies and I also have a new book. Failing that there is always the hotel bar...

Um ..... my excuse re the ironing is that I was at myown flat today and the ironing was at her house. I did hang the laundry out at her place this morning though

The ironing can wait, bed is a much more appealing prospect, even though tonight I shall be alone as Mr DH is at his place. The kids are "de-sanded", fed and in bed, well the smaller one is.
