I quite enjoy the shameless mass consumerism of Valentine's Day, Xmas etc. It's fun.

Having said that I am ignoring V.D. this year (so to speak) except for smiling politely and saying 'Aww, how lovely' when all my married mates tell me about their posh restaurant experiences.
