It's been well fingered over years but still makes beautiful music.

When my firstborn was being born, my hubby was there (without his ginger beard, he'd shaved if off for the occasion to look smart) the midwife persuaded him to go down her end and see the baby 'crowning'......his reaction was "Oh my God, it's f***ing GINGER!"
And he was too.
Looked like a giant orange atop his shoulders on account he also had bad jaundice, and a thick mop of orange hair. Yes, Orange, not even ginger.
Now aged 20 he proudly sports a big ginger beard, and pleased to find that his little bro is now beginning to sport some ginger wisps on his chin.

I happen to be a big fan of red hair, but what I really can't understand is why even when my hair is very dark brown do I always end up with a ginger beard??
