Ah you see thats the thing isnt it? You as a bloke have decided another chap is 'ugly' but he obviously isnt in the eyes of some bird who you think is beautiful or she wouldnt want to date him now would she?
I think the key here is not "banging on" (as bex says) about thinking you yourself are ugly but rather to approach the woman you aspire to with the attitude "I'm right up her street" - and if she decides you aint ugly as sin and you are indeed right up her street, you get lucky....if not well never mind plenty more fish in the sea.
I think what people here are trying to say to you is stop concentrating on your perception about your own looks cuz its up to the other person to decide whats eye candy or not, and worth talking to, jumping into bed with etc. See?
