There will always be a spark of hope and while that remains, you can never really say you've given up.

The only thing that will stop single people looking for their perfect partner is a box and a few feet of earth on top.

Having said that, the tenacity of some would still bring them back to post on the forums a bit longer Very Happy

A spark of hope or a towering inferno in some cases Laughing

Giving up is the wrong phrase, concentrating on other things is probably a better description and understanding that love has a funny way of drifting into your life when you might least expect it. Cliched I know, but has been proven to me several times in my life.

I agree with you Scott... a series of co-incidences often leads people to be connected to each other when they least expect it.

I'll second Scott's comment. It's a better way of putting what I was trying to say, I think.

And I was only kidding about the Flatulus geriatrica

I personally think, if it wasnt for the regulars on this forum, it would completley dry up to love requests, followed by locked, because there is a right place for them.... lol
I dont think of you lot as wrinky, old or farts either, however I am confused, scottie?? has scottie done a revamp? Maybe my eyes decieve me or maybe its the glasses. ( i must have missed that whilst laid on the beach)

I personally like the outdoors shots, and not the distraced by the carpet thing. As long as you can see who your looking for, amongst the trees and naturists. Smile

Yeah I do also note that point, i have thought a number of times, the average age on here isnt falling so much as land sliding down to barley legal.
Age doesnt really bother me, there is 7 years between my parents and 14 between my grandparents ( 31 years happily married, and 53 respectivley)
however, I am less likely to consider a relationship with someone younger than me.

I get messages from 25 year olds, and think nah too young, then think well i am just still clinging to my 20's, but i think I look older and I definatley feel older.

I dont think anyone should give up, and i third or fourth what was said about relaxing a bit about looking for a partner or diverting the focus for a while.

Cos girls believe it or not you age as well and some photos i have viewed look years older than the actual given age!

Now, now, it's not nice to talk about me like that. Women are very sensitive when it comes to aging. =))))))))) Let's bloody face it. Some men turn into good wines (Not all, I agree), whereas most women turn into crap (with the single exception of Sophia Loren, and I don't wanna know if she's got a mask or not lol).

Well Bliss if i browse (perv ) those little thumbnails on the home log in page i try to guess the ageof the girl/woman!!!! Let's just say sometimes i'm close but often i'm way out!!!! So visual impressions on a dating site when all you have is a tiny photo and a nickname do count Exclamation Every one matures in different ways and so do your tastes in life and assorted things but i still believe thatbeing a gentleman, humerous (at times), educated takes you off the wish list of the majority of women on FB. Age is probably an even bigger issue.

BTW Fabulous photo Bliss!!! Sophia Loren LOL drooling and dribbling heavily
