I keep failing miserably to find a girl (or a woman for myself).

can't understand why but I have come to the following thoughts

1. I am ugly so women don't like me because of that
that is a comforting thought because it implies that there is nothing
wrong with me but instead its women only that only care for the looks
or

2. I am an awful, boring and annoying person
which as a thought doesn't feel very optimistic...
because if thats me well its kind of late for me to change!!!

you can say too much on a profile. I mean you want women to look at it and think you seem alright. i.e leave off anything negative or a bit too obscure unless its really important to you then you gotta accept that the person that will like that kind of thing will be harder to find. I dont consider myself particularly good looking but some women seem to think so who am I to argue. Being happy with yourself brings its own deep confidence that you cant reproduce. That kind of thing goes way further I reckon

..that second part is a really cool and accurate comment, if someone thinks someone else is happy within themself, without being arrogant, people can pick up on that. Women are better at detecting that than men..I think??



As for not considering oneself good looking, a lot of people would say that, again avoiding arrogance, or considering ourselves kind of average looking guys/girls. When I was younger that used to be an issue, even though female friends would say 'my mate really likes you' 'nah, she's just saying that'. Then after some years you think yep, someone sometimes does fancy me...even if only occasionally! If a person walks into a room of 30 people, chances are 1 person in there will be attracted to you

In other words - there really is someone for everyone! (the tricky bit is looking)
