...you feel a down for no real reason.
Y'know that feeling when things feel a bit cloudy and you can't quite grasp why.
It would be great to hear your advice on this one.

The best thing you can do is go do some rigorous exercise. It releases the happy chemicals in your brain (endorphines etc) and makes you feel good. You need to make it a good workout though.

People wiser than me have said, "Everyday, do three things for sure - be nice to someone for no reason at all, go outside and do something you'd never expect of yourself and find a park to sit in and reflect upon these two things."

Watch a film you know always makes you laugh, play some music that you know has that 'feel good' factor, and makes you dance with joy and uplift your spirit. Surround yourself with colours. Sit in nature and breathe in the life energy......xx

I do that when I'm angry about something as it's great for channelling that angry energy into something creative and positive, but I think you're right Stu, it's also good for those unexplained 'down' days.

well done that man, thats what i do. I think doctors should prescribe gym memberships to SOME people who suffer from depression, i am sure that would help some of them out, if only they were chaperoned to attend.

Doctors do scottie. My doctor sent me to the gym for depression - i got a prescription form so i didnt have to pay for the first 6 sessions (including the first one-off assessment) then i could stay on at half price.
