Just got into this 'online dating' thing and it seems I'm just at useless at being a ladies man virtually as I am in reality. What works with profiles? How do you keep a conversation going on that chat thing? It seems to just boil down to 'Hey, how are you?', 'I am fine, you?' 'Not bad'.... and thats it, lol.

I have profiles on quite a few sites but Flirtbox has been the best for fun, getting to know people and forming friendships. Sadly I have only been able to access the forum and not the dating bit for a few months so I've really missed it. I've tried everything without success to get back in. Fortunatelly, I am still in contact with people from this site, some of whom I have met/or due to meet. So, yes, it can work!

I'm going to remain optimisitic about online dating/relationships etc..My arms are wide open for a certain somebody around here lol..but damn they are aching, waiting hehe..

It's an interesting concept, this is partly why I'm experimenting.

Its not worked for me yet but ive met loads of really funny and interesting people and we do have a good time on the forums.

Welcome Doug, and enjoy, we're quite a friendly bunch on here. The chat room is only open in the evening and can only hold about 7 ppl at a time so you have to patient to get in.
