Go to Waterloo Station and take a ride to Paris on the Eurostar.
Maybe you could blindfold her before and surprise her once you are on the train and tell her you are going to Paris for a daytrip!

The best thing to do in London is people watching!

I'd haul up in a pub thats open onto the street, have a few drinks chat and watch the world go by!

I love The Roundhouse just near Covent Garden... or the wine bar at the opposite end to the Punch and Judy downstairs on the covered market of Covent Garden, you get all the singers and musicians from all the shows and opera house 'busking'...they do great wines and an excellent cheese board aswell!

There are a million things to do in London every day and evening.

Just buy Time Out and choose something for that day that both of you like.
