Aum, well i've attempted suicide 12 times since i was twelve, that averages out at once a year, however, several shrinks have declared me totally sane and stable.

Go figure.

yeah i think insane is when you are not incontrol of your actions so i wouldnt class suicide as insanity

Point i was making is, wanting to die doesn't make you mentally ill.

Chick, it doesn't sound like you have enough of a problem to warrant admitting yourslf. I don't mean to sound offensive. Beleive me i know how it osunds. I've been in your situation, perhaps more considering my rubbish past. I tried to kill myself when i was eleven a couple of times , and it wasn't till i turned sixteen that I wanted to live. I want to survive these days but I still have urges, for example i can't take tablets or practise driving without fantasizing of swallowing all the tablets, or driving the car into a lampost. I have so many problems that i really don't want to go in here. And you know what, i went to my gp plenty of times asking for help. When i was 12 they referred me to a psychiatrists, bugger all that did though. All they did was give me counelling for anxiety. I told them i wasn't better but they said i was. I've been to the gp at least four times, and they once referred me to a child sort of psychologist. he said he'd refer me. That was about two years ago.

But the point is its only in the major cases that they give you the time of day, or allow you to be insitutionalised. Besides my mother's been in there for one day so they could find that she had clinical depression. And a couple of other people i know have visited mental hospitals for whatever reasons. It can be a really disturbing place and a little unhelpful. They only institutionalise you if they think your fixable or a danger to yourself and society. In rare cases. Don't bother.

Once again don't take offence, didn't mean to.

Well I offered to take you out, but you kind of just threw it back in my face. You showed me up and hurt my feelings bad. Also Marie and I have been worried about you after you stopped sending irregular text messages.

You may not want to believe it, but I do care about you. You have to learn to stop pushing people away, because there are people who will show concern and quite frankly, that is rare nowadays. So I hope you see this and don't do anything silly.

When this whole court crap with Stefanie McGinnie is over, I'd like to consider my life a fresh start. Whether you want to meet me half way on that is up to you, but I won't wait up on you forever.

Regards, from Peter.
