Ask around for people who have done the same as well, as with everything there's always stuff you just don't think of before hand, no harm getting advice from people who have been down that route before. I just think its good to have all the questions ready for the lawyer. But yeah, sounds like a good idea.

is it possible that you still stay in your own flat and then he can pay the mortage and live in there himself..
or rent it out ..

does anybody know if you still have a to display a GB sticker on your car when you drive in Europe? i am driving in France and Belgium on thursday and wasnt sure if they were still required as i haven't driven outside the UK for about 5 years?

UK registered vehicles displaying Euro-plates (plate with circle of 12 stars above the national identifier on blue background) no longer need a GB sticker when driving in European Union countries. In theory, if you have ‘normal’ UK number plate, you need a GB sticker, although the police in most EU countries can’t be bothered issuing on-the-spot fines to those not displaying a GB sticker.

oh thanks oggioggi, with that in mind i think i will pop into Halfords or AA shop when i am out tomorrow and get some just to be on the safe side, they cant cost much, but better than getting stopped by the old bill who dont speak the same language Laughing Laughing
