I've tried all and still use some of the medications you said weren't working for you, but for a different problem, although PAIN control is still the main issue and I have never been offered the patches you describe.
About a year ago I bought a TENS (digital pain relief) which has little pads to place on your body and it works by passing electrical pulses into the body via them. TENS stimulates the body's production of endorphins ( the body's own natural pain killers) and also blocks the body's pain signals that travel through nerve fibres to the brain.
Once I began using the TENS on a regular basis, I found that I was able to dramatically reduce my medication. You can buy different types, and I think some clinics or chemists may hire them out. So it could be worth asking your GP about them because they work well alongside other medical treatments.
I do hope that things improve for you, as pain can make you tired all the
time yet make it difficult to sleep. Awwww Hugs to you!
