How can you generalise on people like that?

One of my friends is a DJ and he's NOTHING like that.

I think you have to ask yourself "do I really want to be with someone who never has any time for me?".

Personally, whether I liked them or not, I wouldn't bother if they were always too busy for me.

DJ's aint all players. I would say text him now and again and dont be over keen. If hes into you he will text you.

well I actually agree that MOST dj's are players, first and second hand experiance,

I own a company which sells dj equipment and builds nightclubs, and I also have done a spot here and there, and found that most dj's in 1 night will have loads of ladies chasing them,

dont make it so easy, play hard to get,

this technique works because most dj's have loads of offers etc, and it makes it too easy to accept them,

be abit different, let him/her know your interested, give them the odd glance wilst dancing on the dance floor, he/she will soon come chasing after you,

my advice (for what its worth)

cool down on the txts/phone calls/emails.

I know its tough, especially when that phone just doesnt beep!

if he likes/respects you then he'll make a little effort.

if he doesnt then it might not be worth getting involved in - as it will only end in tears..

he might be on some power/ego trip and love the attention (occupational hazard maybe)

Your inital idea of going cold for a few weeks certainly to me seems the right way to play it.

distance yourself and if he is worth getting to know further, he'll get in touch.

Sound advice!

Back off on the contact...it might be hard to start with but if he really likes you then he'll make the effort to contact you.

If he doesnt...then you know where you stand and maybe you've saved yourself some heartache in the long run!

I dated a DJ for quite a while and whilst it's one profession that definitely attracts a lot of female attention, it doesn't mean they're all players.

Good luck and I hope it works out best for you! Smile

Im a dj and have been for many years and I can honestly say IM NOT A PLAYER. I find that remark quite offensive. Yes we are popular with the ladies but that just goes with the job, same as footballers, racing drivers etc, they all attract the women. Doesn't mean your a player though. Some of my best friends are dj's and half of them are in serious relationships.

I know a few dj's who arent players either. I know some that are but it doesnt mean they ALL are.

Interesting how you wrote DJ in the title there.
Is it because he's a DJ you want him?
Have you spent time with him doing other thing than clubbing?
