I would say though, and yes i have experience ..... you can still love someone but not be 'in love' with them. One of my best friends is an ex and yes i still care about him loads, and will always be his friend, but know nothing will ever happen as far as a relationship is concerned.

You need to decide for yourself can you still be her friend but stay detached from all the feelings you still have ?? and like i said, depends on the reason you split. If she only wants you for advice or late night drunken phone calls, then i think you know what you need to do. xx
